Jeffrey Smith Memorial Scholarships

From the beginning of MAC’s creation, it has provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to its performers.

Each ensemble in good financial standing and registered for the 2026 MAC Championships are eligible to select one of their members to apply for a scholarship. MAC will be granting one guard and one percussion $500 scholarship, which will be presented at the Championships event. Performers are encouraged to discuss their intention to apply with their ensemble staff, and can apply here no later than March 20th.

The Scholarship Committee is made up of individuals representing MAC who will review each application independently.

Support for these scholarships comes in through membership dues and personal donations from supporters of the marching arts community.
