Updated Regional A Score Factoring for 2024
Score factoring for Equipment and Movement remains an open WGI proposal every two years for re-evaluation of the efficacy of this method. This year, it was reaffirmed to remain in the A Class as a 70/130 split. However, for Regional A it was updated to move to a 60/140 split to further enhance the technique and skills to promote holistic quality of ensembles. As a Certified WGI Partner, MAC will adopt this new split for our local classes (AA, AAA, MS, and Jr) beginning on 24Feb2024.
